Halloween with the children, an evening at the theatre or an early ride through the city: this weekend offers three very different ways to get out. Here are seven dated events, including two plans for the following week, with prices, age conditions and booking links.
A day with the children
Halloween Festival at Terra is a flexible starting point. For two adults and two children aged four or over, festival admission totals AED 200; the option including Magic Phil totals AED 300. These are ticket costs only, excluding transport, food and other purchases. Admission to Terra’s permanent exhibition is not included in this calculation.
For a theatre outing, consider Titizé, an acrobatic production open to ages four and above. Whether a child will enjoy sitting through it depends on the child; the emphasis is on movement, music and visual storytelling.
A date or an afternoon with friends
Two tickets for Benjamin Clementine on Sunday start at AED 1,000. Saturday’s alternative is the Halloween Brunch at Crescendo: AED 898 for two adults with the soft beverage package. These are separate options rather than one itinerary.
For two adults and children aged five and nine, the brunch comes to AED 1,098: 449 × 2 + 50 + 150. Transport and extra orders are excluded.
An outing without an admission charge
Dubai Ride is an option for those with a suitable bicycle who are happy to start early. Free participation does not mean bicycle rental is included. Next week, Dubai Design Week offers free festival access, while individual workshops and the separate Downtown Design fair have their own terms.
