While it’s still bearable to spend more than a minute on Dubai’s streets, hurry up and spend the day outdoors. From amusement parks to camel rides, we’ve rounded up the top family-friendly attractions.
Motiongate и Legoland в Dubai Parks and Resorts
Theatre starts with a coat rack, and outdoor activities in Dubai start with Dubai Parks and Resorts. It unites three major theme parks – Motiongate, Bollywood Parks and Legoland. The most popular, of course, is the first one. Hollywood comes alive right before your eyes thanks to entertainment zones created based on the storylines of beloved cartoons from famous film studios – DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures Studios, Columbia Pictures and Lionsgate. Test your nerves on the rides in Mad Pursuit based on Madagascar and High Speed Chase from The Green Hornet. If that’s not enough, go to Blast Off in Zombieland to finally fly into space from the feeling of free fall. And if you in the company of children, entertainment for them will also be at every step: what is worth only one “Smurf village” Smurfs Village.
Don’t forget to stop by the behind-the-scenes tour of the film industry at Studio Central. Here you’ll not only learn how blockbusters are made, but you’ll also be able to feel like the main character in the film.
Legoland will also delight you with 40 attractions for all ages. The youngest visitors will be able to ride cars on roads with traffic lights, feel like policemen or firefighters, and sit at the controls of an airplane. Be sure to visit the water park with 20 slides, a pool with artificial waves, and “river” attractions.
Mushrif National Park
One of the best solutions to spend time outdoors with your family is to go to Mushrif Park. In fact, it is a real forest with wild trees that go far beyond the horizon, which looks very unusual for Dubai. However, its vast territory has landscaped picnic areas, sports grounds for basketball, football, volleyball and bike paths. You can easily spend the whole day here.
